How will the population picture change in Snohomish County in the future? How will these changes impact the mix of future leaders within the County? How will this impact the future focus on economic development/economic vitality (ED/EV) efforts in Snohomish County?

This article speaks to national diversity trends: http://www.governing.com/topics/economic-dev/Growing-America-Demographics-and.html

To me, this suggests there is a need to step-up efforts to bring diverse leaders into the Project Concentrus conversations. We need to seriously think about how future organization for ED/EV can best reflect developing future realities. It also suggests that we need to make certain that the future EV organizational system provides more help to diverse business owners, gives more help to diverse tech business owners, and works on building a market that is consistent with the new demographics.
