Industry Affiliation More of Driver of Job Losses Than Business Size

Scott Shane is a professor of entrepreneurship at Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management. He wrote an informative article about job loss in large and small businesses and concluded that industry affiliation is more important than business employment size.
This is an important read as Snohomish County thinks about economic diversification and the role of small business in its economic based.
