Prosperity Partnership’s Talent Strategy

I am impressed with the Prosperity Partnership’s talent strategy, which I discovered and read with great interest. Michael Luis,a Seattle area consultant, wrote the report for the Prosperity Partnership and the Seattle International Trade Alliance. The strategy is very consistent with an article I wrote back in 2004, which encouraged economic development organizations to partner nationally and globally to build competitive advantage. Six years ago this was a new idea that frightened many economic developers. Today it is the new wave as organizations like the Puget Sound Regional Council, the San Diego Regional Alliance, Research Triangle Park, and others, are steadily moving in this direction.  You can download my article here. Here is the link for the Partnership’s talent document: Read the talent strategy here.
