Snohomish County Leaders: Be Champions of Entrepreneurship!

The Kauffman Foundation did a comprehensive study of historical job creation and, not surprisingly, found that small businesses are the main source. “Without startups,” writes Senior Fellow Tim Kane, there would be no net job growth in the US economy. This fact is true on average, but also true for all but seven years for which the US has data going back to 1977.”
Concentrus Inc. will need to play several key roles to advance economic vitality in Snohomish County. At the top of the list of roles should be to champion entrepreneurship! Small business is important, but entrepreneurship is even more important. Entrepreneurship is about risking, innovating with new ideas, technology and business concepts, and it is about giving vitality to local economies.
